Community Brokerage Network - Ayrshire

Community Brokerage Network provide free support to people throughout Ayrshire who have social care needs.

We do this by providing a trained, independent support broker to help the person prepare for a formal assessment, think through what would best meet their needs and work closely with them to develop their support plans

Brokers also work with people who do not meet the criteria for formal social work intervention to explore how their needs can be met within their own networks and communities.

CBN create opportunities for people to help each other and to connect up with other people.

A Broker can provide independent information to help a person understand the options available to them under Self Directed Support legislation and to help with creative and flexible planning in line with their individual budget and other resources.

We work with people, carers, families, professionals and communities to build on peoples’ assets and enhance opportunities for individuals to take control and live a good life.

Brokers will carry out home visits or meet the person at a place of their choosing.

Our service is available to anyone in Ayrshire with a level of care need.
We work with all age groups and there are no qualifying criteria.
